Room rental

At Edinburgh Centre for Psychodynamic Therapy, we are pleased to be offering room rental of our three spacious and modern therapy rooms. Located centrally in Edinburgh’s vibrant Princes Street and in close proximity to transportation links, our therapy rooms provide a convenient and accessible space for therapeutic work. Whether you are working with individuals, couples, families, or groups, our rooms are designed to accommodate a variety of therapeutic settings. Equipped with a warm and inviting atmosphere, our rooms offer a supportive environment to facilitate meaningful and transformative therapeutic experiences. Kitchenette with excellent coffee and tea facilities on each floor as well as a shared business lounge that’s free to use.

How it works

block bookings

Rooms are bookable Monday to Sunday in the morning, afternoon and evening in blocks:

  • 9am-1pm

  • 1:30pm-5:30pm

  • 6pm-9pm

Earlier requirements to morning or later requirement to evening slots can be arranged.

Your blocks are arranged in advance, though please inquire for the possibility of more ad hoc booking. If you wish to change or cancel a booking, one month’s notice is required.

room charges

1 hour - £8

4 hour block - £26 (£6.50 per hour)

8 hour block - £48 (£6 per hour)

You are responsible for payments even if your client cancels or if you are on annual leave. Payment is calculated on a 50 week basis and is payable over 12 monthly payments, so the following are monthly charges per block:

 1 x Weekly 4 hour block - £108
1 x Weekly 8 hour block - £200

There is further discount for taking multiple weekly blocks on a monthly basis:

3 x Weekly 4 hour blocks = monthly fee: £275 (£5.50 per hour)

2 x Weekly 8 hour blocks = monthly fee: £333.33 (£5 per hour)

3 x Weekly 8 hour blocks = monthly fee: £450 (£4.50 per hour)
