We are excited to announce that ECPT is now inviting applications for our September 2024 placements!

We have 5 spots available for a September start and another 5 spots for January. This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment specifically dedicated to providing affordable psychodynamic therapy.

Requirements and Benefits:

Only students undertaking psychodynamic training can apply, including students of integrative or pluralistic training if a large part is dedicated to psychodynamic training. It is necessary for students to have already passed their Fitness to Practice before applying. Each trainee is expected to see 3 in-person clients in blocks of 20 sessions, with the option of also doing some online work. Students need to have a course-approved individual supervisor and in addition to this, they will benefit from free monthly group supervision meetings and CPD courses from ECPT. Students need to have a student membership of an approved ethical body, their own professional indemnity insurance, and they’ll be supported to get a PVG scheme check or update at their own cost.

Key Dates:

• Application Deadline: 1st August

• Interviews: First week of August (via Teams)

• Induction: End of August/beginning of September (2-3 hours via Teams)
