We are excited to announce that ECPT is now inviting applications for our January 2025 placements!

We have 4 spots available for a January start. This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment specifically dedicated to providing affordable psychodynamic therapy.

Requirements and Benefits:

Only students undertaking psychodynamic training can apply, including students of integrative or pluralistic training if a large part is dedicated to psychodynamic training. It is necessary for students to have already passed their Fitness to Practice before applying or be expected to pass by early January. Each trainee is expected to see 3 in-person clients in blocks of 20 sessions, with the option of also doing some online work. Students need to have a course-approved individual supervisor of a psychodynamic modality and in addition to this, they will benefit from free monthly group supervision meetings and CPD courses from ECPT. Students need to have a student membership of an approved ethical body, their own professional indemnity insurance, and they’ll be supported to get a PVG scheme check or update at their own cost.

Key Dates:

• Application Deadline: 21st November

• Interviews: First week of December (via Teams)

• Induction: Mid to late January 2025
